Services for Lena Mae Beshear, 86, Dawson Springs, were Wednesday at Beshear Funeral Home.

The Revs. Bob Allen and Jesse Cavness officiated. Burial followed in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

She passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019, at Baptist Health in Madisonville.

Mrs. Beshear was born on Feb. 26, 1933, in Caldwell County to the late Alex Lamb and Gertrude Orange Lamb.

She was a cook for Lynn's restaurant and The Place Restaurant. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a 1951 graduate of Dawson Springs High School and a member of Faith Apostolic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Beshear, who died in 2012; a grandson, Chris Beshear; two brothers, Ray Gordon Lamb and Kenneth Lamb; and a sister, Thelma Moore.

Survivors include her daughter, LaDonna Washburn, Dawson Springs; a son, David (Charlotte) Beshear, Dawson Springs; a brother, Jimmy Lamb, Princeton; grandchildre, Nathan Stallins and Amy (Shannon) Albro; and great-grandsons, Zander Albro and Jaxon Stallins.

Pallbearers were Shannon Albro, Nathan Stallins, Jimmy Edward Lamb, Eric Lamb, Tim Moore and Jimmy Lamb. The Rev. Wayne Lamb was an honorary pallbearer.
