Graveside services for James Calvert "Jim" Anderson, 83, Princeton, were Nov. 6 at Creekmur Cemetery.

The Rev. Shelley Caulder officiated. Morgan's Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

He died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019, at TriStar Skyline Medical Center, Nashville, of complications following a stroke on Oct. 31.

He was born on Sept. 19, 1936, in New Albany, Ind., as the first child of Calvert Tronson Anderson and Pauline Chambers Anderson. He graduated from Butler High School in 1954. He was part of the 867th AAA Battalion in the U.S. Army. He had established an appliance repair business. He was a member of Ogden Memorial United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Geralene Anderson; his son, Christopher Anderson, Richardson, Texas; his sister, Linda Anderson Peters, Dawson Springs; his brother, Rocky Anderson, Princeton; and a granddaughter.
