A memorial service for Nita Rae Dunbar, 84, Dawson Springs, will be at 3 p.m. today at Beshear Funeral Home.
Chaplain K.C. Klarner and the Rev. Larry Phaup will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until time for the service today at the funeral home.
She died Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
She was born April 19, 1935, in Smith County, Miss., to the late Grover Cleveland and Beulah Wilkins Lancaster.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Ilsley Community Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D.O. Dunbar; two sisters, Lillian N. Bailey and N. Lucille Baker; and six brothers, Fermon Wesley Lancaster, Hugh O. Lancaster, William Woodard Lancaster, Chester Clyde Lancaster, Ray Ford Dale Lancaster and Albert Franklin Lancaster.
Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Gayle Salina, Brandon, Miss.; one sister, Melva Courtney, Pearl, Miss.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
