Funeral services for Wanda Louise Calvert, 78, Dawson Springs, are 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Beshear Funeral Home.

The Rev. Donnie Howton and Elder Jeff Winfrey will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until time for the service Wednesday at the funeral home.

She died Saturday, June 29, 2019, at her home.

She was born Feb. 17, 1941, in Madisonville to the late William Roy Beshear and Margaret Louise Dockrey Beshear.

She worked for more than 30 years at Ottenheimer Manufacturing and was a member of Baptist Temple Church in Dawson Springs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Melton.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Jewel R. "Buddy" Calvert; a daugher, Lisa Purdy; a son, Jeff Calvert, Providence; a sister, Debbie Futrell; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Troy Thomas, Brady Brooks, Todd Bullock, Grayson Thomas, Kevin Brooks and Kevin Lynn. Austin Russell will serve as honorary pallbearer.
