Funeral services for Glendell Arlon Washburn, 81, Dawson Springs, is at 1 p.m. today at Beshear Funeral Home.
The Revs. Bob Allen and Jesse Cavness will officiate. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, where the U.S. Navy will present military honors.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time for the service today at the funeral home.
Mr. Washburn died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at Baptist Health, Madisonville.
He was born on Jan. 7, 1937, in Princeton to the late Rev. John Long Washburn and Geneva Ellen Driskill Washburn.
Mr. Washburn served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1954 to 1957. He worked and retired with General Motors of Ohio after 32 years. He was a member of Faith Apostolic Church of Princeton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, LaDonna Beshear Washburn; three daughters, Dianne (Ronnie D. White) Lynne Washburn of Dawson Springs, Lisa (Chris) Dawn Washburn Adkins, and Amy (Shannon) Albro of Greenville; two sons, David (Lynn) Arlon Washburn and Nathan Stallins of Dawson Springs; one sister, Mildred Washburn Peters of Princeton; seven grandchildren, Jerad Arlon Washburn, Thomas Adkins, Justin Allen Washburn, Christina Dawn Tuckett, Christian Adkins, Zander Albro and Jaxon Stallins; four great-grandchildren, Micah Washburn, Christopher Adkins, Leigha Adkins and Kyle White; and one niece, Sharon Peters.
Active pallbearers include Justin Washburn, Thomas Adkins, Jerad Washburn, Nathan Stallins, Ronnie White and David Beshear. Honorary pallbearers include Kenneth Vickery and Terry Creekmur.
