A total of nine felony indictments were handed down by a Caldwell County grand jury in session this week.
The jury met in interim session Tuesday before Circuit Judge C.A. Woodall III. In addition to the felony indictments, the jury also returned two misdemeanor indictments and four no true bills.
A Dawson Springs man was indicted.
Shawn L. Blanton, 40, of Hubert Williams Road, Dawson Springs, was indicted for first-degree wanton endangerment (two counts), fleeing or evading police, first degree, criminal mischief, second degree, and reckless driving.
A no true bill was returned on a speeding charge.
The charges stem from a Feb. 20 incident. A warrant was issued, with bond set at $10,000 cash.
