Guests at “It’s Amore!” dinner and concert will hear love songs of the decades sung by local musicians during a fundraiser Feb. 8 at the Dawson Springs Independent Schools multipurpose room.

The event is sponsored by Preserve Darby House and proceeds will benefit the organization.

The Summer Girls — Melissa Heflin, Jenny Sewell and Traci McKnight — will perform as will Gavin Sewell.

Violinist Josh Coffey will play romantic tunes for the attendees.

Dinner will consist of homemade lasagna, an Italian garden salad and homemade French bread with homemade strawberry and red velvet cakes. A homemade sugar-free cheesecake will also be provided.

The event was originally planned for the Dawson Springs Community Center, but has since been moved to the multipurpose room at the school. Postcards with the new information is being mailed out.

The event will start at 6 p.m. Feb. 8. Tickets are $25 per person or $40 per couple. Attendance is limited to 100 guests. To purchase tickets, call 270-797-2781.
