Those who work with nonprofits and other organizations are invited to a workshop later this month, according to a news release from the Pennyrile Resource Conservation and Development Council, Inc.
The council, Pennyrile Area Development District and the United Way of the Pennyrile is offering the workshop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, at the PADD office, 300 Hammond Drive, in Hopkinsville.
Topics include staying legal with the Internal Revenue Service, branding, getting volunteers and addressing challenges.
Speakers include attorneys, nonprofit directors, mayors, judge-executives, hospital CEOs, committee members, PADD officials and fundraisers.
The registration fee is $25 per person, which covers materials, refreshments and lunch. To register, contact the RC&D office at 270-885-5600 or email@example.com as soon as possible.
