Two webinars hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association aims to shed some light on the memory disease, according to a news release from the association.
“Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia” will be from 10 to 11 a.m. and noon to 1 p.m. Thursday. Registration is done at ALZWebinars.org.
Viewers will learn the difference between the two, the impact of memory diseases, stages and risk factors and current research and treatments.
“Effective Communication Strategies” will be from 10 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 3. Registration is done at ALZWebinars.org.
Ruth Reko, the association’s community educator will present on how to communicate with patients and how to decode messages, both verbal and behavioral.
