The Dawson Springs Panthers will open their season Tuesday as they host Crittenden County at 7:15 p.m. Team members include Austin Skinner, Dilyn Skinner, Dylan Dawson, Greyson Pleasant, Landon Pace, Logan McKnight and Rett Nieters. The team is coached by Jim Hicks. A complete basketball preview for all teams in Hopkins County will be included in a special section in next week’s Progress.

The Dawson Springs Lady Panthers will open their season hosting Trigg County on Monday at 6 p.m. This year’s Lady Panthers include Abby Ward, Amber Putman, Brylee Spurlin, Gracie Harper, Kimberly Hoover, Macy Drennan, Madeline Back, Natalee Oldham, Abigail Garrett, Lyla Hoffhines and Madelyn Huddleston. The Lady Panthers are coached by Amanda Scott.
